The Big Shop Window was formed in 2006, primarily for the people in North West Lancashire – an alternative to ebay – giving them the opportunity to buy and sell locally with greater ease.

The aggravation of trawling through endless adverts to find what you are looking for, only to find that you have lost it as you look at a different one, is eliminated and replaced with an easy to use site where buyers and sellers contact each other to finalise the transaction.

For businesses and service providers, it gives an opportunity to reach people where they are at – and also enables people living locally to find local contractors and service providers.
